CANCELLATION, REFUND & WARRANTY POLICY
(Effective Date: 26/11/2025)
This document sets out the procedures and principles for cancellation, refund, and warranty processes related to all services provided by DDD Pickleball, including tournament and event registrations, training programs, digital content, and product sales.
By completing a payment, users are deemed to have accepted these terms.
1. DEFINITIONS
In this document:

“Organization” refers to DDD Pickleball.

“User/Participant” refers to any individual who registers, makes a payment, or purchases a service through the website.

“Service” refers to tournament, event, training, consultancy, and digital content offerings.
-
“Event” refers to tournaments, organizations, workshops, training days, and similar activities.
2. GENERAL PROVISIONS

The user confirms that they have reviewed all service details, dates, content, and pricing conditions before completing the payment.

Once payment is completed, the service or registration quota is considered confirmed under the user’s name.
-
Cancellation and refund requests are evaluated solely within the conditions defined in this policy.

All refunds are issued using the same payment method originally used.
3. CANCELLATION & REFUND TERMS FOR TOURNAMENT AND EVENT REGISTRATIONS
3.1 LEGAL BASIS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL EXCEPTION
3.1.1 In accordance with Article 15/1-f of the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Sales Regulation:
“Consumers may not exercise the right of withdrawal for services related to leisure, sports, entertainment, or recreational activities that are required to be performed on a specific date or within a specific period.”
3.1.2 Since tournaments, events, sports organizations, and training programs fall under date-specific services, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply.
3.1.3 Nevertheless, DDD Pickleball voluntarily offers additional cancellation and refund rights as part of its customer satisfaction approach.
3.2 CANCELLATION & REFUND PERIODS
3.2.1 Up to 14 Days Before the Event – 100% Refund

Requests made up to 14 days before the event date are fully refunded.

No deductions apply.
3.2.2 14–7 Days Before the Event – 50% Refund

Requests made between 14 and 7 days before the event are refunded at 50%.

The remaining amount is non-refundable due to organizational planning, reserved quotas, and operational expenses.
3.2.3 Less Than 7 Days Before the Event – No Refund

Requests made within 7 days of the event date are not eligible for a refund.

However, the user may transfer their spot to another person.

Transfer requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event.
3.3 EVENT-SPECIFIC CONDITIONS & ORGANIZATION DISCRETIO

3.3.1 DDD Pickleball may adjust cancellation and refund terms depending on the nature of the event, available quota, or sponsorship requirements.

3.3.2 Any such changes will be clearly stated in the event announcement or registration page.

3.3.3 If the event is cancelled or postponed by the organization:

A full refund will be provided, or
-
The registration may be transferred to the new date upon user request.

4. CANCELLATION & REFUND TERMS FOR TRAINING SERVICES
-
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the training start date are processed free of charge.
-
No refunds are issued once the training has begun.

Upon user request, the program may be postponed to a later suitable date depending on availability.
5. REFUND PROCESS & PAYMENT METHOD
-
Refund requests must be submitted in writing (email or contact form).
-
Approved refunds are forwarded to the bank within 7–14 business days.
Processing times may vary depending on the bank. -
For installment payments, refunds may be issued in installments according to the bank’s policies.

Refunds are always processed through the same payment method originally used (credit card, debit card, online POS, etc.).
6. WARRANTY TERMS

The organization guarantees that all services will be provided in accordance with the announced content, schedule, and quality standards.

If a service cannot be delivered due to a reason attributable to the organization, the user may receive a refund, rescheduled date, or a compensatory service.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Sports activities naturally involve physical risks. By participating, the user accepts these risks.

The organization cannot be held responsible for lost personal belongings, injuries resulting from user error, or unforeseen sports-related incidents.

The organization bears no liability for force majeure or third-party faults.

All requests will be reviewed and responded to in writing within 7 business days.
9. EFFECTIVENESS
This policy enters into force on the date of publication. The organization reserves the right to update the terms when necessary. The updated policy becomes effective once published on the website.
